A local pub has come up with a novel way to help Pools fans feel at home while they enjoy the big game with MK Dons on Sky this Saturday (12.15pm kick-off).
The Millhouse will have the feel of Victoria Park about it when it opens its doors at 11am, complete with Town End and Rink Ends as well as half time hotdogs!
Phil Dunn, the Club's Official PA Announcer, will also be on hand for all the important points of order such as reading of the teams, confirming of goalscorers and other vital announcements!
At half time there will be a 'celebrity panel' on hand to discuss the main incidents, while former Premier League referee Jeff Winter is expected to be there to clear up any controversy during the game!
And the event is not just in the name of good fun - a raffle and collection will be held to help raise money for children with special needs at Catcote School who are hoping to enjoy a mini-break at Disneyland Paris next June.
"We wanted to do something a little bit different to help Pools fans enjoy the game," said Dave King, who runs the pub alongside Phil McGhee.
"Maybe it's a bit daft but we're sure it will be a lot of fun and hopefully it will be an enjoyable afternoon for everyone - whatever the result!"
Kids are welcome at the event too but must be accompanied by an adult. Draught beer is available from just £2 and draught cider from £2.30.
With four televisions, surround sound and a chance to win one of two signed Hartlepool United footballs or an iPod Shuffle, the Millhouse could be the place to enjoy this Saturday's live game!
