Team News: MK Dons v Pools

Posted on: Thu 02 Sep 2010

Mick Wadsworth is waiting on the fitness of James Brown ahead of Saturday's trip to face MK Dons at stadium:mk (12.15pm kick-off).

Brown went down under a heavy challenge during the midweek win over Northampton Town and was substituted with an ankle injury.

He's been receiving treatment and is hopeful that he will be able to recover in time to feature at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Andy Rafferty is a big doubt after sustaining a hand injury and has gone for x-rays this morning after it failed to settle down; young keeper Liam Mooney has been placed on standby.

Ritchie Humphreys and Fabian Yantorno both pressed their claims with hour-long outings for the Reserves and both could make the bench, while Neil Austin returned to training on Tuesday but the weekend will come too early for the full-back.

MK Dons team news to follow soon.
