Pools Reserves will kick-off their Totesport.com League campaign this afternoon when they take on Lincoln City at Billingham Town (2pm kick-off).

Ritchie Humphreys is set to be handed a starting place for the game as he continues his recovery from knee and Achilles injuries which have kept him out of pre season.

The Reserves finished last term as runners-up to Leeds United and will be looking to make a positive start today, under the guidance of Mick Wadsworth.

"We had a good season at Reserve level last year and we'd obviously like to see the same again this time around," he told us.

"Winning is a good habit to get in to so the lads will want to get some good results which can only help them push for places in the First Team."
