With the whole world seemingly talking about the volcano eruption and the subsequent disruption we thought we'd catch up with Armann Bjornsson and get his perspective on the situation.

Not only is he the only player in the Pools squad who can correctly pronounce the name of the troublesome volcano, but he also gave us an insight in to what the people of Iceland think of the international predicament.

Eyjafjallajoekull erupted last week causing a huge cloud of ash to be blown over the UK meaning the majority of air traffic has been suspended until at least Wednesday.

Bjornsson had plenty to say on the subject, and explained that it's unusual seeing Iceland on the television every hour of the day in England.

"I feel sorry for the people living under the glacier," he told Pools Player.

"It is always with the ash coming down and the ground there is grey so they are in danger of breathing it in which is tough.

"I'm hopeful it's going to stop soon though, hopefully in the next few days."
