Goals Galore At Prenton Park Tonight?

Posted on: Fri 19 Mar 2010

Tranmere have been placed as 6/5 favourites for three points tonight, with Pools priced at 23/10 and the draw rated a 9/4 shot with bet365.

After a lacklustre showing at Yeovil Town last weekend Pools could do with turning their away form around at Prenton Park - and if you fancy them to win 2-1 then you can get odds of 11/1.

If statistics are anything to go by then there could be goals - only Stockport have let more League One goals in at home than Tranmere, while only Gillingham and Wycombe have conceded more on their travels than Pools. 2-2 anyone? At odds of 12/1 it could be worth a quid!

James Brown is vying for a starting spot for Pools and is priced at 7/1 for the opening goal, as is Roy O'Donovan who will be looking to add to his hat-trick against Southend.
