Turner: We'll Turn Around Our Away Form

Posted on: Tue 16 Mar 2010

Chris Turner is focusing his players on the task of turning around their away form by picking up a result from Saturday's trip to face Yeovil Town (3pm kick-off).

Pools have lost their last eight games on the road and a defeat at Huish Park this weekend would equal a record which has stood since 1985.

However, Turner insists that his players' performances have often warranted reward away from home this season and says they have to keep on working hard if they want things to turn for them.

"Some of our best performances this season have been away from home," he told us.

"We've played well a number of times without getting that little bit of luck you need at times but we've just got to get on with things.

"Everybody enjoyed the win over Southend last week and now it's about going to Yeovil and being positive and hopefully getting a result.

"The players are confident they can do it, they have been confident of getting results in every game we play and we'll keep that positivity on Saturday."
