Weekend Youth Team Game Postponed

Posted on: Fri 26 Feb 2010

Pools Youth Team will once more be without a game this weekend after Scunthorpe United declared their pitch unplayable due to bad weather.

It's been a frustrating year for Micky Barron's youngsters who have seen numerous fixtures fall foul of the weather.

And after their midweek 1-0 win over Burton Albion, they were looking forward to building some momentum for the season run-in.

"It's so disappointing for the lads," conceded Barron.

"This season has been stop-start for the last couple of months and we've not been able to get any rhythm going."
