Matty Tymon has joined Northern League Division One side Spennymoor Town on a one-month loan deal.

The striker has found opportunities at The Vic hard to come by since turning professional in 2008 and has just returned to fitness at the start of the year following an ankle injury sustained playing for the Reserves.

Tymon, who turns 20 in April, has previously spent time on loan with Newcastle Blue Star and will be hoping this most recent move will afford him regular First Team football.

He has not been registered in time to go in to the table-topping Moors' game at Chester-le-Street tonight but is expected to go in to the squad for their weekend game at Benfield.
