I Won't Rush Things Insists Brown

Posted on: Mon 08 Feb 2010

A cautious James Brown returned to full training today and vowed to do everything in his power to ensure his latest comeback is a successful one.

The 23-year-old has been out for two and a half months with a knee problem and he admits that he will have to take things slowly as he aims for a First Team return.

"Obviously it's nice to be back out there because I've been stuck in the gym far too long," he told Pools Player.

"I've taken it quite easy today; I will have to ease myself back in to it and it's a bit sore now but that's to be expected.

"I don't know what's in the gaffer's thoughts but I'd like to sneak on to the subs bench against Huddersfield - we'll just have to see what happens.

"I think Chris just wants me to take it easy and he knows I'm not going to be running around like a lunatic in my first session back.

"I've got through it today and that's the main thing."
