Pools Youth Team have been handed a massive incentive to get through their FA Youth Cup Tie with Watford on Tuesday - because the winners will face a trip to Anfield.

Liverpool cruised past Leicester City in their Fourth Round tie last night to book a place in the next stage of the competition and now await the outcome of next week's Victoria Park fixture.

Pools have already impressed in the competition this season, seeing off Lincoln City, Notts County and Sheffield United on their way to Round Four where Watford lie between them and a trip to Anfield.

"Obviously, the incentive is massive for the lads," admitted Coach Micky Barron.

"The lads didn't need any more encouragement going into the Watford game but this is massive for them.

"To play at Anfield would be the biggest day of their careers to date but we will not be getting carried away.

"We know that Watford will provide us with a stiff test - we've had them watched and reports tell us it will be a difficult game but we'll give everything we have."

And if you want to come along to The Vic to cheer Micky Barron's team on, the game is at The Vic on Tuesday 19th January (7pm kick off).

Entry into the game is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
