Posted on: Fri 20 Nov 2009

Stars of Hartlepool United's past and present turned out at Victoria Park this afternoon to help celebrate the launch of the Club's brand new History Book.

Pools are pleased to announce the release of 'The Official History of Hartlepool United Football Club' - the definitive guide to the Club's century in existence.

Paul Baker, Ken Johnson, Keith Nobbs, Mark Tinkler, Ritchie Humphreys, Micky Barron and Chris Turner joined Chairman Ken Hodcroft in the Centenary Suite for a special event to unveil the book.

Find out how the Club came in to being, discover the trials and tribulations of financial problems and frequent flirtations with the dreaded re-election vote and learn about the 'mystery letter' received at The Vic after the Play-Off Final in 2005.
