Pools have been handed a home tie against either Kettering Town or Redditch United in the First Round of the FA Cup.

The two teams drew in their first tie on Saturday and are due to replay at Redditch's Valley Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Ironically, Kettering are managed by Mark Cooper - the man who was in charge of non-league Tamworth when they shocked Pools in the competition in 2005/2006.

The Poppies currently lie third in the Blue Square Premier, while Redditch are bottom of the Blue Square North.

Whichever team gets through it will represent a first for Pools having never played against either in their 101-year history.

Ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday 7th November.
