Young Striker Moves Out On Loan

Posted on: Sat 15 Aug 2009

Striker Matty Tymon will this week join up with Unibond Premier League outfit Whitby Town for a one-month loan period.

Chris Turner has been keen to get some of his players out on loan to gain experience and Tymon is the second player to benefit from this.

Last week Michael Mackay joined up with Gateshead in a half-season loan.

Tymon impressed last season during a two-month loan spell at Newcastle Blue Star and Turner will be hoping the striker benefits from his month with Whitby Town.

Meanwhile, Youth Team keeper Nick Thomas - who has been gived the senior squad number 31 for the season - has joined Northern League Division One outfit West Auckland FC on a period of work experience.
