Second Round Cup Draw Set For Tonight

The draw for the Second Round of the Carling Cup will be made this evening - straight after the final whistle in Pools' game with Coventry City.

There are three First Round games remaining this evening, with 32 teams having secured their passage into the Second Round last night.

The Second Round will see the introduction of the 13 Premier League teams not involved in Europe this season the local rivals Middlesbrough and Newcastle United.

There is no North/South split for the next round and the following 25 teams have been seeded and will not face each other in the draw;

Should Pools make it past Coventry City this evening, they will enter into the draw for the Second Round of the competition.
