Music To Your Ears At Victoria Park

Posted on: Wed 08 Jul 2009

Last month we appealed to fans to send us their views on how we can freshen up matchdays at Victoria Park for the 2009/2010 campaign.

And we received a huge response with a variety of ideas suggested, which have now been discussed in full here at The Vic.

As a result, we have made the decision to revamp the music played at the ground on a Matchday - both when the players come out and when we score a goal.

And that's where we want some more of your help...

Have you got a song in mind that you'd like the team to come out to? Do you know something that will really get The Vic rocking as the players make their entrance?

Then let us know - and we'll pool all the ideas and try to select the very best of the best which will be unveiled in our first home game of the new season.

Plus, we're going to try the unique idea of using a different 'theme' whenever each individual player scores a goal to try and up the atmosphere inside the ground.

We've already got our eyes on such classics as 'I Feel Good' when James Brown scores, or 'The Sweeney' when Antony Sweeney hits the net, but what others can you come up with?

With your help we can make coming to The Vic a great day out and create the backing to roar the players to success on the pitch.

Click here now to email us your suggestions for entrance and goal celebration music.
