Pools Rated 50/1 To Finish At The Top

Posted on: Wed 17 Jun 2009

The fixture lists are out and now it's all downhill towards the start of the 2009/2010 League One campaign as the bookies release their early odds for the title.

Pools aren't fancied at all despite their movement in the transfer market and have been placed at 50/1 to finish top dogs, alongside Leyton Orient and Exeter City.

The bookies have installed Leeds United as favourites to take the 2009/2010 League One title and make it third time lucky in their bid to return to the Championship.

You can back Simon Grayson's men at 7/2 to be Champions, while relegated Norwich City (13/2) and Charlton Athletic (15/2) are both fancied to finish in top spot.

Fellow relegated outfit Southampton's ten point deduction means they are down at 20/1 for the title, with MK Dons (9/1) and Millwall (12/1) an outside bet for glory.

Yeovil Town and Stockport County are the long shots to finish at the peak of League One with bet365 offering odds of 80/1 on the pair for 2009/2010.
