Seven Subs For Pools Next Season

Posted on: Fri 12 Jun 2009

Pools will be able to name seven substitutes from the start of the 2009/10 season.

Championship outfit Derby County submitted a proposal to the Football League at the Chairman's Conference in Portugal requesting an increase in the allowed number of substitues.

And will the majority of clubs voting in favour, the new ruling will come into play.

This means clubs can increase the number of substitutes for Coca-Cola Football League matches to seven (from the current five), of which three may enter the field of play.
