Goal Of The Season 2008/2009: The Results
Antony Sweeney has been handed the 2008/2009 Goal of the Season award after fans voted for their favourite from the past campaign.
The midfielder's superb effort against Millwall in March was the goal crowned as the best by supporters - a ball struck sweetly on the volley right in to the top corner.
It's the first time Sweeney has scooped the Goal of the Season award and he held off some pretty tidy competition from his team-mates.
David Foley was a pretty close second due to his memorable match-winning strike against Stoke City in the FA Cup at the turn of the year.
Joel Porter's fantastic long-distance effort at Elland Road in September's Carling Cup tie against Leeds United also made a pretty impressive top three.
