Liddle Named Community Player Of The Year
Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation have now announced their Community Player of the Year and the award has gone to Gary Liddle.
The 2008/09 season saw Pools players make more appearances in the community than past years (click here for details) and they have worked closely with the Community Sports Foundation throughout the campaign.
Gary Liddle has been chosen as Community Player of the Year by Keith Nobbs and his team for his efforts and enthusiasm throughout the season,
"I'd like to thank all of the players for their support this season and IOR, Chris and Colin for their continued backing," Nobbs told hartlepoolunited.co.uk.
"All of the lads have been brilliant this year, coming along to schools all over the town in their spare time after training.
"We chose Gary as our Community Player of the Year because of his enthusiasm and positive attitude to the Foundation.
"Gary has never missed an appearance for us and has been both professional and approachable on his visits.
"We'd like to thank Gary and all of the lads for their help this season and we look forward to seeing them again in the new season."
