Youth Team Set For Bantams Trip
Pools Youth Team will play their penultimate Youth Alliance League game of the season on Saturday when they travel to Bradford City (11am kick-off).
Micky Barron's men go in to the game on the back of a confidence-boosting 3-1 win over Doncaster Rovers last weekend and will be keen to maintain that kind of form in the remaining two fixtures.
"I was really pleased with the way the lads performed last Saturday," Barron told us.
"It's important we don't just let the season fizzle out so hopefully we can take confidence from that and get another three points this weekend.
"We know it will be tough because Bradford are just above us in the table but if the lads can perform in the same way again then we are more than capable of getting a result," he added.
Barron is set to name another very young side for the game, with the Coach set to once again dip in to the Under 16s to bolster his squad.
The game takes place at Rawdon Meadows on Harrogate Road and we'll have a full report on the Official Website on Monday morning.
