Posted on: Wed 28 Jan 2009

Another group of former players enjoyed a great reception from the fans at Victoria Park during half time in Tuesday's game with Carlisle United.

The Club have been inviting former players as guests for recent home games in the run-up to our Centenary Legends Dinner at the Borough Hall on Sunday 15th February.

And on Tuesday it was the turn of Paul Haigh, Kevin Dixon, Hughie Hamilton, Mally Dawes and Ken Johnson to be welcomed in to the Club's Maidens Suite and go on the pitch during the break.

They will be among a host of former stars who will be in attendance at the Borough Hall alongside special guests Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara.

Paul 'Goffy' Gough will compere the evening, which is already proving a huge hit with fans and tickets are being snapped up extremely quickly.

They are available from the Club's Ticket Office right now priced at £35 which includes a three-course meal and free entry in to a special prize draw.

For more information on this not to be missed event contact Natalie or Andy in the Commercial Department on 01429 272 584 (Extension 3).
