Danny Wilson was on help add a little Christmas sparkle for residents and staff at Warrior Park Nursing Home by turning on a special outdoor lights display.

The Pools boss made a special trip along there last Thursday to officially turn on the lights as well as pose for pictures and sign autographs.

With many of the residents following the Club, staff were keen for someone from Pools to come along for the big switch on.

And Manager Wilson was only too happy to go along,

"It was nice to meet the people there and hopefully the lights display can help them all get in to the festive spirit," Danny told us.

"They'd obviously spent a bit of time working on it and it was great to be invited down to switch them on."
