Defeat at Leyton Orient...

"Obviously we felt we had a chance to make it five wins in a row with the game at Leyton Orient last weekend but it wasn't to be. It was a bit of a scrappy game but we lost out in the last ten minutes."

Overnight stays...

"We have another nice long trip ahead of us this weekend but we have prepared right this week and we have to make sure we continue with the right preparation and hopefully the result will follow.

"I was watching the FA Cup draw at home and I saw Yeovil come out and then Torquay, Havant & Waterlooville and then Exeter and I thought all of the really long trips had gone. But then Brighton came out and we were next.

"It's something we're used to now, being in Hartlepool every away trip seems to be an overnight. We counted them up at the beginning of the season and I think only four of our away games were not overnight stays."

Changes to the Brighton team...

"It'll be a different Brighton team on Saturday to the one we played at The Vic a couple of weeks ago. I know Glenn Murray will be back for them - they didn't have an out and out striker in the last game so we know that will be different.

"We know Murray can be dangerous, I've played against him a few times before so hopefully we can keep him quiet and that will help us get through the tie."

Who's the culprit?

"There have been a few pranks going around in the squad over recent weeks. I think the lads know that there are three main culprits and one player in particular is under suspicion.

"We're keeping an eye on him, I think he's getting a little bit nervous because every time somebody smiles at him, he thinks something has been done. But I think the lads will keep him on his toes before getting revenge because there definitely will be more repercussions!"
