We're Not Far Away Insists Wilson
Danny Wilson insisted he would not let his players get downhearted despite a familiar feeling to defeat at Northampton Town on Friday night.
Pools laid siege to their hosts goal without success and Karl Hawley 16th minute strike proved decisive on a cruel night at The Sixfield Stadium.
"You have to get something for all your hard work and we didn't get that tonight.
"But we're not far off and those little bits of bad luck or bad play will come right in the end, we just have to keep believing that we'll turn it round," Wilson told Pools World.
"I'm sure from their (Northampton Town's) point of view they'll be very very relieved that they've come away with a 1-0 win.
"I don't think they'll be able to believe it but unfortunately that's been the story of us."
But Wilson was determined not to let his players feel disheartened after the defeat and insisted they will turn things round,
"They've done very well, they've worked their socks off and given 120%.
"It's just that little bit at the end that's not coming right for us but it will do - there's no doubt about it and when it does there'll be quite a few clubs who get a spanking because we can't keep playing like that and not winning games comprehensively."
