Danny Wilson is looking forward to another big Friday night at The Vic.
Cheltenham Town visit Pools this evening (7.45pm kick off) and the Manager is hoping that some of the Friday night magic of past season returns tonight,
"If we look at the history of Friday night games, we have had some fantastic atmospheres and let's hope we can replicate that and some of the results we have had in those games here tonight.
"It is never easy going away from home and playing in a night game so it is important that we make it as uncomfortable as possible for Cheltenham this evening, in the nicest possible way.
"We need to make sure we set off at a great tempo and we would want the fans to do the same and hopefully we'll get the result we need."
And Wilson is under illusions of the importance the role the supporters can play in the game tonight,
"Without a doubt one of the reasons the fans have been so vociferous this season is because we have been playing so well and we need to make sure we keep that going.
"We need to make The Vic an enjoyable place to come and watch football while also an uncomfortable place for the opposition to come."
Tonight's opposition may well currently lie at the bottom of the League One table but Wilson has ensured his team know this is no indication of the how the game will go this evening,
"They have had some very hard games - I have reiterated to our players that they cannot even think about the league table now as it gives a false impression of what Cheltenham are capable of doing.
"They have had some tough games and reports from when we have had them watched have told us that they have played well and they possibly could have had things out of them.
"They have played in some very tightly-contested games and it looks like being the same again."
