Pools Reserves kick off the new Central League campaign this evening with the visit of Barnsley to The Devereux Stadium.

Ian Butterworth's side ran out league leaders in the North East league last season and will be looking for more of the same this term.

Butterworth has named an experienced side going into the game, with Jan Budtz, Jamie McCunnie and Matty Robson all starting.

David Foley and Michael Mackay will lead the attack, while Alan Power gets a start in the centre of midfield.

New Youth Team man Jack Sharples will play in the centre of defence alongside Joe Tait.

The game kicks off at 7pm at Billingham Town's Ron Greig Stadium, Bedford Terrace, Billingham.

Entrance to the game is free for Season Ticket Holders, with non-Season Ticket Holders paying £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.
