Danny Wilson has revealed that Ritchie Humphreys will be Club Captain and Sam Collins will be Team Captain for the 2008/2009 season.

The pair will work together in the coming season; an exciting partnership which the Pools boss expects to help the team prosper.

"Ritchie is very good at the organisational things, the PR stuff in and around the Club as well as being a great example on the pitch," Wilson explained.

"Sam's very similar but I just thought that with his experience at a higher level and having been captain at clubs throughout his career he could give us something.

"I think most importantly they will gel very well as a team; they have respect from everybody within the Football Club and hopefully their high standards can rub off on the rest of the lads."
