Danny Wilson has made his first move in to the transfer market this summer to secure the signature of former Nottingham Forest midfielder Alan Power.

The 20-year-old Dubliner was released from the City Ground at the end of the season after three years with the Club and Pools have moved quickly to entice him to the North East.

Power came through the Forest Academy and has been impressive for their Reserves side as they won their Pontins Holidays League Championship in the last two seasons.

And the youngster caught the eye when he bossed the midfield for Forest Reserves in the Play-Off game against Pools at Billingham Town last month.

The midfielder also enjoyed a month on loan with Grays Athletic at the turn of the year during which he scored twice in five league starts before returning to Forest.
