Young Striker Goes Out On Loan
Michael Rae has joined Blue Square North outfit Southport on a month's loan.
The young striker has impressed for the Reserves this term, bagging ten goals along the way and Manager Danny Wilson is keen for him to go out to get some competitive games under his belt.
Rae, who is yet to feature for the First Team, is looking to gain some valuable experience from the move,
"It's a good opportunity for me to go out and get some regular games in.
"It's an important season for me and I need to show the Gaffer and the rest of the staff what I am capable of.
"Hopefully the month will go well for me and will give me some good experience."
Southport are pushing for a Play Off berth this term and are currently sitting in 6th position in the Blue Square North table.
Rae will join up with the squad in time for Saturday's game at Tamworth.
