Michael Nelson has been named in the Football League's Team of the Week for League One.

The defender was his usual uncompromising self during Saturday's game with Walsall despite the Saddlers nicking all three points with a last-minute goal from Paul Hall.

Alongside Nelson in the Select XI defence is Walsall man Scott Danns who was impressive at The Vic on Saturday and helped snuff out any danger at the back.

Meanwhile, Tuesday night's visitors to Victoria Park had two players named in the Team of the Week - double goalscorer Joe Garner and keeper Keiren Westwood were both selected by the panel.
