IOR Reach Historic Milestone At Pools

Increased Oil Recovery

Saturday marks a special anniversary in the life of Hartlepool United as the link with IOR reaches the ten-year milestone.

Increased Oil Recovery took ownership of the Club on 22nd September 1997 and since then there have been plenty of highs and lows for fans - but mainly highs, let's be honest!

Chairman Ken Hodcroft has presided over the most successful era in Hartlepool United's history, winning promotion from League Two on two occasions and also coming just minutes from achieving a place in the Championship in the 2005 Play-Off Final.

One thing is for sure, there's rarely been a dull moment since IOR took over the Club and with investment continuing on and off the field, the future looks bright for Pools fans.

As part of the ten-year celebrations we want to know what the ten best moments are since IOR took ownership of the Club - and we need your input.
