The 18-year-old joined Pools at Under 15 level and has since impressed with his determined attitude and consistent performances - factors which earned him the Youth Team captaincy last term.
Despite having broken both of his legs during his three years at the Club, the central midfielder has been a regular when fit and is rated for his powerful abilities, strength in the air and sound distribution.
Haigh is the second member of his family to play professional football at Pools; his father Paul player for the Club in the late 1980s, making over 60 starts.
Two members of last season's Youth Team squad were offered professional deals by Pools - Haigh was one and the other was Martin Young.
