About Spotland

Another excellent lower-league ground with one of the warmest atmospheres around. The completion of the Willbutts Lane Stand in 2001 was the final piece in the Spotland jigsaw and meant that all four sides of the ground had been redeveloped in the previous decade. Listen out for the music too - among the best played at any football ground in the country!

Away Facilities

Pools supporters can look forward to enjoying the view from the 3,644 all-seater Willbutts Lane stand. They boast of "a feast of culinary delights" so maybe try out a pie while you're there! An excellent stand, and one from which the Pools fans made a great noise during their last trip to Spotland in 2007.

Directions

Leave Hartlepool on the A689 and then join the A19 Southbound on to the A1(M). At Junction 43 stay right and head on the M1 and then at Junction 42 and take the M62 towards Manchester. Leave the M62 at Junction 20 on to the A627(M) signposted Rochdale. At Junction 4 turn left at the traffic signals on to the A664, then on to the A58 Rochdale and then the A680 towards Blackburn. Continue forward on to Sandy Lane before turning right on to Willbutts Lane and in to Spotland Stadium.
