About Hillsborough
Home to Sheffield Wednesday since 1899, Hillsborough has become one of the most famous stadiums in the country and has hosted two League Cup Final replays and almost thirty FA Cup semi-finals. Previously named Owlerton Stadium after the suburb in which it stood originally until the area was re-branded Hillsborough and the ground followed suit.
Away Facilities
Pools fans will be located in the upper tier of the West Stand (or Leppings Lane end) of the ground. There is capacity for almost 4,000 visiting supporters and the view of the action is generally very good.
Car Parking
At a cost of £5 both home and away fans can park in the Wednesdayite Car Park which is directly behind the Kop and the Wednesday Club Shop. There is also a park and ride system in place for fans who wish to park at the Meadowhall Railway Station and then take a yellow tram to Leppings Lane. The parking is free but the train journey will cost £3 and take around 35 minutes.
