About The Weston Homes Community Stadium

Colchester United moved in to their new home at Cuckoo Farm in the summer of 2008. The grand new arena replaced the more traditional Layer Road, where The U's had been playing their football since 1937.

Away Facilities

Pools fans will be able to watch the action from the South Stand which has the capacity for 1,900. Views of the playing area are good and facilities inside the stadium are excellent.

Car Parking

There are limited car parking spaces at the ground which cost £10 each. However, the Club have organised a Shuttle Bus service which runs from the nearby Colchester Business Park.

Directions

Leave Hartlepool on the A689 and then join the A19 Southbound on to the A1. At Junction 43 move in to the left-hand lanes to join the A1(M) and then continue forward until Junction 14 where you come off on to the A14 following signs for Huntingdon/Cambridge. Follow the A14 which and continue forward on to the M11 before leaving at Junction 8 on to the A120 towards Colchester. Follow the A120 into Colchester, branch left on to the A12 and then continue forward until Junction 29 when you once again merge on to the A120. Branch left, take 4^th exit at roundabout and then turn left on to Newcomen Way. At the next roundabout take the 3^rd exit on to Severalls Lane and follow signs for the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
