About Prenton Park
The stadium was competed in 1912 which is when Tranmere began playing games at Prenton Park. It was one of the grounds used in Coca-Cola's 'Real Fans' commercial in the 2004/2005 season.
Away Facilities
Pools fans will take their seats in the Cowshed, which is opposite the large Kop End. The stand is all-seated, mostly covered and can hold up to 2, 500 fans.
Car Parking
There is a car park at the ground which away fans can pay to use. If you opt for street parking then that's available too but be careful not to get caught by the local residents parking scheme.

Directions
Leave Hartlepool on the A689 and join the A19 Southbound. Merge on to the A1(M) and then keep in the right-hand lanes at Junction 44 to go on to the M1. Leave the M1 at Junction 42 to join the M62 (signposted Manchester, Bradford) then at Junction 18 continue forward onto M60 and then go back on to the M62 following signs for Liverpool. Continue forward at end of motorway on to the A5080 then follow signs for the City Centre on to the A580. Follow signs for Ring Road, Tunnels and then branch left on to the Kingsway (signposted Wallasey - Tunnel) and enter Wallasey. At the roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted Freeport) and then continue forward on the A5027 to enter Birkenhead. Look out for some traffic signals where you turn left on to Cleveland Street and then turn right on to Watson Street (signposted Liverpool, Birkenhead). Follow directions for Prenton and Clatterbridge and the ground should become visible.
