About Elland Road
Initially opened back in 1897, an enormous new stand was added in 1992 which is around double the size of the other three sides of the ground. In 2008/2009 season, Pools fans will make only their second ever league visit to Elland Road.
Away Facilities
Pools fans will be located in the South East corner of Elland Road where there is room for around 1,800 fans, though this allocation can be doubled if necessary.

There are a couple of large car parks quite close to the ground which Pools fans will be able to use for a small fee.

Directions
Leave Hartlepool on the A689 and join the A19 Southbound. Merge on to the A1(M) and then keep in the right-hand lanes at Junction 44 to go on to the M1. Leave the M1 at Junction 44 (signposted A639 Leeds South) and then continue to follow signs for Leeds on the A639. Continue forward on to the A61 before taking the 1st exit at the roundabout to join the M621 (signposted Leeds) before leaving at Junction 2 (signposted Morley). Turn right on to Lowfields Road and then continue forward. The ground should be pretty well sign-posted.
