About The Withdean Stadium
Following the closure of the Goldstone Ground in 1997, Brighton shared with Gillingham for two seasons until moving to the Withdean in 1999. After several years of wrangling, the Club have now been given the green light to build a brand new 22,000 capacity stadium at Falmer. The plans propose that the Seagulls could be in their new home by 2010.
Away Facilities
Pools fans are situated in the uncovered North East Stand which can hold around 850 supporters. The stand is quite a distance from the playing surface with a running track in between and it's very open to the elements - be sure to take plenty of waterproofs if the forecast is poor!
Car Parking
The Club operates a very good Park and Ride system as there are parking restrictions around the stadium on a Matchday. The system operates from Mill Road and is the ideal way for visiting supporters to make their way to the Withdean.
Distance from Victoria Park
