"It was definitely nice to get back on track on Tuesday night. I thought it would be a tough game but we probably put in one of our best peformances of the season and got back to how we were playing last year in terms of possession and the way we cut them open at times.
To get the first goal so early set us up nicely and the second goal seemed to relax us and calm us down. They put us under pressure in the second half, scored a goal and then Eddie (Nolan) managed to clear one off the line that would have made it 2-2.
However, we scored our goals at crucial times, right at the beginning of the game and then we got the third when we were under the cosh a little. It was great to do that because in recent weeks we've been conceding goals at bad times."

"It's hard doing all the miles but we're not making any excuses about the results we've picked up. We have got to go to all these places at some point in the season and it just so happens they've all come together - it's just one of those things.
Maybe the hardest thing is to pass time on the bus. Michael Mackay has been bringing some pretty bad DVDs for us to watch - I think we're on the tenth play of Spiderman now!
I try to keep in amongst the lads on the bus who have good banter but when I feel a bit tired I usually head up to where the Kit Man Peter Darke is sitting. If you fancy a nap then five minutes with him and the Physio James Haycock can usually sort you out for the rest of the journey!"

"I normally cut my hair in the showers after training but Tony Sweeney is always asking me to grow my hair and stop shaving it. I shaved it before the Bournemouth game and Sweens had another go at me so I've just left it since then.
Now he has had a look at it he thinks I should shave it off again so at the minute I'm just letting it grow to get on his nerves!"

"Everyone's favourite at the moment is Jose Mourinho isn't it? He's certainly a favourite with the fans but I reckon a lot of the players would fancy him having a crack at it too.
I'm not sure if the FA are looking for a foreign manager again or whether they want an Englishman - really I think there is only Harry Redknapp who could do it if they look close to home.
But I'd definitely go for Mourinho; he commands the respect of the players and has a real presence about him so think he'd be good."

"Ben turned up in a nice new coat at the game on Tuesday night. He came in and modelled it to the lads in the changing room before kick-off which he got a bit of stick for obviously!
To be fair, I thought he looked good in it but it did make him look a bit like Billy Zane!"
