POOLS ON THE MOVE LOTTERY
Rules of the competition
The competition will be registered with the Local Authority under section 5 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 and each and all of the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to be the rules of the competition together with the following:-
1. Entry into the competition will only be accepted through the promoter's records.It is the member's responsibility to ensure that their name is correctly recorded against their numbers and marked as paid in the current week's competition.Any code numbers not correctly entered will be deemed to be unsold and not valid to win any dividend.
2. Each member entering the competition will receive a membership card that will include their competition codes.The codes will be selected at random by the promoter's computer.
3. All members must be registered by name and address.
4. Members can ask their promoter to allocate new code numbers to them.Once new codes have been allocated, one week must elapse before a further request can be made.The aforementioned will not apply when all the codes in the competition are taken.
5. A member's subscription must be received by the promoter by 12 noon on the day of the competition.
6. A result sheet showing the winning codes and the names of the winning members will be published each week.The promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any printing or computer error, or circumstances where incorrect information is shown.
7. Hartlepool United Football Club (H.U.F.C) shall have the final decision in any dispute or difference arising out of the operation of the competition.
8. In the event of the financial market(s) being unable to trade or suspended for any reason.The winning number will be calculated from the previous working days finishing figures.
9. In the event of the financial market(s) being unable to trade for more than one working week, the lottery draw will be suspended, any jackpot will remain unchanged and any monies collected will be credited to the following draw following re-opening of the markets.
10. HUFC accepts no responsibility for any communication failures due either to computer or telecommunication failure or for any other reason.HUFC undertakes to process the results in such a manner as shall, in its opinion, be the most suitable as soon as is practicable.
