Wilkins Plays Football Right Way - Boss
Pools boss Danny Wilson is looking forward to an entertaining game at Victoria Park this weekend when he locks horns with another former team-mate.
Wilson enjoyed a four-year spell at Brighton in the eighties and was in the same team as Seagulls boss Dean Wilkins at the Goldstone Ground.
And Wilson - who was once offered the manager's job at Brighton - knows that his long-time friend will be preaching football the right way to the players at Albion.
"I had a short spell of time with Dean at Brighton and he was a good player," Wilson commented.
"He's gone on to become a top manager and he's football through and through which means his team plays that way too.
"They will get the ball down and pass it around which will be a breath of fresh air to see and they have a lot of quality for us to deal with.
"Hopefully we'll see a really entertaining game but obviously we'd like the result to go in our favour at the end of the day.
"It's bound to be an emotional day for everyone but we're looking to ensure it's a good tribute to Michael and I'm sure it will be."
