Duke Of Edinburgh Award At Pools

Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation has been successful in applying for £10,000 second year funding to run the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award at Hartlepool United for people aged between 4 and 24 years old.

Six participants James Hall, Jamie Measor, Joshua Wilson, Matthew Dunn, Adrian Gray and Joshua Buckley recently completed their Bronze Award of the DofE, and were presented with their certificates by Keith Nobbs Development Officer at Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation.

Eleven participants have recently completed their Practice and Qualifying Expedition at the Peak District and another fifty participants have registered for their Bronze Award with four setting their targets to a sailing voyage on the James Cook training vessel as part of their Silver Award.
