Card Sharp

Lucky Fens Primary School pupil Ryan Kennedy has scooped an extra special prize after winning a competition to design MP Iain Wright's Christmas Card.
The ten-year-old will lead Pools out at The Vic for a game next year after his design was chosen as the best from those submitted by children from all the town's schools.
The card has now been professionally printed and will be delivered to Presidents and Prime Ministers around the globe as well as to our own leader Tony Blair.
Hartlepool Mail Editor Joy Yates chose the winners and runners-up (all from Fens Primary) and on Friday H'Angus the Monkey gate-crashed the school assembly to help present the prizes!

"I'd just like to thank the Club for their support in this initiative," said Wright, himself a former Fens pupil.
Ryan, a keen Pools fan, will now attend a game in 2007 where he will experience the whole mascot package - meeting the players, having photos taken and then leading the team out.
"I was shocked when I won and even more so when I found out what the prize is - I can't wait!" he told us.
"I'm glad we can help this as it's a great idea and we look forward to Ryan coming along to The Vic," the Club's Chief Executive Russ Green added.
