Players Present To Poolie Pupils

Posted on: Mon 14 Dec 2009

A group of Pools' players were busy off the pitch last week as they popped into The Vic to attend some special presentation evenings.

At the end of each term in Pools Study Support Centre, pupils are rewarded at a presentation evening when a member of the First Team squad comes along to present them with certificates.

And last week, Mark Cook and Jonny Rowell were the first visitors as they presented to Y8 pupils from St Hilds School.

Striker Denis Behan was on hand to meet Y6 pupils from Rift HousePrimary School while fellow forward Adam Boyd handed certificates out to Y6 pupils from Brougham Primary School.

Last up was Alan Power who came along to present to Y8 pupils from Manor College of Technology.

The players all made of the events even more special for pupils as they posed for photographs and signed autographs for them.
