Behan And McSweeney Enjoy Fans Talk-In

Posted on: Thu 26 Nov 2009

Denis Behan and Leon McSweeney were in good form on Wednesday night as they entertained Pools supporters at a Question and Answer Session at the Corner Flag.

The Irish duo were at the event for over two hours, despite Behan being on crutches after damaging ankle ligaments in Tuesday's game with Southampton.

Questions and topics discussed were varied, ranging from who were the characters on the training ground and how they had adapted to life in the north east.

The pair also discussed the aims for the season, and even gave their thoughts on that handball by Thierry Henry that robbed the Irish of a World Cup place!

"It was a good opportunity for us to meet some of the fans and we hope they enjoyed the night," McSweeney commented.

All funds from tickets sales went direct to the Club's Youth Development so we'd like to offer a big thank you to those that attended.
