Pools strikers Armann Bjornsson and Colin Larkin popped along to the local Mecca Bingo last week to lend their support to a new appeal.

The pair handed over old pairs of football boots to support Mecca's Heels For Wheels campaign, which is to raise money for charity Whizz Kidz.

Whizz Kidz is a disabled children's charity aimed at providing wheelchairs, advice and training and Pools were delighted to support Mecca Bigo's fund-raising efforts.

Manager Gavin Lee and his Mecca staff are encouraging people to go along and donate old shoes in order to raise money for the charity.

And both Colin and Armann handed over a pair of boots to show their support.
