Pools Players Present To PfS Pupils

Posted on: Tue 27 Oct 2009

The first of this year's Playing for Success students have recently completed their course.

Each group attended a series of Presentation Evenings in the Victoria Lounge last week to celebrate their achievements.

Once again the Pools players were keen to be involved in the children's successes.

Julian Cherel and Peter Hartley were on hand to present certificates to the Y6 pupils from Fens Primary School.

The children from St Cuthbert's RC Primary also got a double treat when Billy Gruelich and Matty Tymon popped in to attend their presentation event.

Pools' number one, Scott Flinders, handed out the awards to the pupils from St Aidan's CE Primary whilst Ritchie Jones returned to the Study Centre to reward the boys and girls from Hart Primary.

The lads posed for photographs, signed countless autographs and really made the end of the PfS course special for the pupils.
