H'Angus the Monkey today helped out with a worthy cause by making a donation to a great local charity.

The Pools mascot won £50 for finishing second in Sunday's Mascot Gold Cup at Wetherby and today he donated those winnings to Hartlepool Hospice.

Sarah Anderson from the Hospice popped in to Victoria Park this afternoon to be presented with the cheque which was handed over by H'Angus himself.
