H'Angus the Monkey was today relaxing with his feet up after finishing a brilliant second in Sunday's Mascot Gold Cup at Wetherby.

The Pools mascot was in fine form on the race course but will have been slightly peeved to have been beaten to the finish line by... a box of noodles!!

That's right, Megumi Noodle Box took first place running for Wokon Noodle Bar in Leeds, while Wakefield Wild Cats rugby team's mascot Daddy Cool came in third.

We still reckon it's a brilliant effort by H'Angus, taking part in a race which has raised over £31,000 since it began back in 2006.
