Our Centre of Excellence teams played Doncaster Rovers at the weekend, with three of our teams playing very well and one below par.

Our 12's and 14's travelled away and the coaching staff reporting two good performances.

Our Under 12's coach Kyle Anderson was pleased with how his team performed.

Kyle said the boys played some good football at times. We scored two well-taken goals from Scott McCarthy, and Jake Larkin.

There were also good individual displays from U11 Michael McGee and Reece Woods.

TheUnder 14'sCoaches Richard Hill and Joel Porter were delighted with the squad's display

We played a lot of good attacking football with our combination play in the final third in particular very good.

Our defending as a team was defensively strong, organised resulting in few chances for Doncaster.

We created many goalscoring opportunities, finishing four times Matthew Garbutt, Craig Hutchinson an own goal and our best goal of the game was converted by Christopher Dodds who finished off a great team goal that involved five players.

In the home games played at Manor College produced our performance of the week from our U13's and also our one disappointing display of the weekend from the U15's.

The performance of the day went to our Under 13's who were in fine form and also hit the goals trail finding the net eight times.

Coach Adam Brooks and John Hewitson were very happy with the team's performance.

They said the boys showed good composure on the ball, our combination play in the attacking third was very good, and our finishing was top drawer.

Goalscorers were Daniel Tagget (2), Kieran Stares, Graham Horton, Luke James, Aaron Brown and Ryan Tuck.

There was also a good individual performance from Sean McRoberts.

Our Under 15's squad produced a below par performance.

Coach Tommy Conner was disappointed with how well the boys performed.

The positives were we scored three times and tried to play out from the back in the second half. Our scorers were Jordan Richards, Kyle Morris and Farran Pope.

However we conceded some poor goals resulting from our own mistakes.
